not a big Rome fan either...I guess I just prefer the laid back style of DP. Maybe Colin will grow on me.
Just give him a chance...I was a little skeptical at first when he took over for Kornhiser...but the guy is pretty funny at times...

Cowherd makes some really funny comments at times.
His comparison of having T.O. own your team to dating a stripper was absolutely classic and one of the funniest things I have ever listed to on talk radio.
Dan Patrick is a baseball homer, so he doesn't interest me much either. But I do like his style.

I used to not like Cowherd at all but he grew on me. I listen to him more than anyone else now. He doesn't hold back anything. DP's show has gone down hill if you ask me. It was much better with Dibbs and Salisbury back in the day. Phill "the show killer" is annoying.

I had to quit listening to DP because every time something happens like Artest or Randy Moss or Rothlisberger he spends his entire show on some moral soapbox and it gets old. He is great at talking sports and interviewing guys, but whenever he steps off the slipper slope, it is too much.
Cowherd is the top sports talk radio host in the
LA area, bar none. Fox Sports has gone to chit.
Rome is the only one left that I can stomach,
and thats only about once every two weeks for
about 20 minutes. DP is second and Farr/Miller
third. At least these guys talk sports. JMHO.

I like Cowherd, and listen to him daily. He is original and doesn't hold back and its great when he ripped on M.Irvin, even though they both work with ESPN
I think you need to give Cowherd more of a shot. He's really funny and makes some really interesting comments...very fresh.
