That is so staged......do people REALLY think that is real?

Jim Rome is not staged ? their all staged in some sense. Rome reminds me of Howard Stern, 8th grade to college humor. Cowherd is a 40's guy and he thinks like a guy in his 40's. I like his show, as he would say, it's a big boy show.

Cowherd lived not to far from me in a suburb outside of Portland before he went to ESPN and i met him a couple of times.....Pretty down to earth regular guy who has his own distinct personality...i enjoy how he mixes in different subjects and he is not afraid to voice his opinion even if it is about a co worker at ESPN....he is pretty funny also......the guy is doing something right to get where he is today...

I like the term "high level mustaches"

He's really grown on me as well. Wish we got hear the last hour of his show in NYC, instead of Steven A Smith.

Tony Bruno is pretty popular in LA area and actually pretty funny. He digresses from sports on occasions but does his show with some good humor. I always feel that Cowherd is talking down to his audience and he belabors his points ad infinitum. Rome was a fad that quickly lost his luster - you can only stand that self promotion for so long. There were a couple of guys I only heard for one summer - Booms and Kylie, something like that. It was quite a duo. I found them hilarious but must have been in minority because haven't heard much of them lately. They had a tryout for a couple of days in LA last year and didn't make it.

Colin has grown on me too. I agree that he repeats himself but then most sport talk show hosts do anyway. Some of his personal insights are what entertain me the most. My favorite host is still Lee Klein (local).
