I'm surprised the line on tonight's game has LSU favored at that price (-150). I expected them to be favored, but thought it would be around -120. Cie Grant is right that the starting pitchers are pretty even and a slight edge goes to Texas in the pen. Despite the Longhorns recent power surge, LSU still is the better offensive club.
I believe LSU gets the victory tonight with just enough offense to get by in a low scoring affair. Texas' D continues to struggle at the CWS and I think that could haunt them tonight. However, I'm not going to place a bet on them at that price, and also considering I already have a wager in on them for the series. Can't fault Cie, hedgehog, or keygray for their plays on Texas at that dog price. On paper there's definitely value with the two clubs so evenly matched.
Raunado (LSU) and Green (Texas) are the starting pitchers and there is no need to list their stats. Their staunchy stats have been well documented and these two guys are capable of adequately doing battle with any offense in the country. Texas has a completely rested pen due to Jungmann's complete game last night. LSU has some decent options in the pen too, but Cain and Bradshaw will only be used as a last resort due to the innings they threw last night. That means Bertuccini, Ott and perhaps Coleman will be the guys looked to if Raunado gets into trouble. There is just a slight bit of wind in Omaha today, and it is blowing in. Do you see what I'm getting at here? Last play of the year and I'm looking for a ball game similar to last night or in the 6-3 fashion.

GL guys. Been a great season and looking for a great game for it to end on.
