Saw Kent play Temple in their own building last week and I'm just not impressed with them. They will go as far as Evans and Holt carry them. They have a couple of young guys that may be OK later but they will need some time. This is probably the least physical and tough KSU squad that I have seen in several years.

Not trying to scare you at all because they sure as hell ought to be able to stick around with a crappy Husker team. I thought very seriously about using Neb but I just can't bet that team as a chalk. I'll pass and hope you hit this play. Good luck.

FCP - can't really disagree with anything you wrote. Simply think Nebraska is a bit overvalued right now, which is saying a lot for a team that may be favored in a game only 3 more times the rest of the year.

0-1-1 losing the Sparty play and St. Peter's has a pretty big second half collapse to merely get a push.

Updated Record: 11-14 -4.55 units

for Tuesday:

Detroit -4 for 2 units - good spot and meager opponent for the Titans to bounce back.
DePaul -7 for 2 units - you won't find many times that I back my alma mater this season. Fairfield is playing poor D, not shooting well and rebounding terrible, presenting a prime spot for DePaul to pull away in an ugly game. The poor rebounding is key for DePaul to be competitive against anyone this year.

And the marquee Big Ten/ACC games should be close:

NC State +6.5 for 1 unit
N. Carolina +9.5 for 1 unit

Looks like we are largely on the same stuff tonight. Looks like a nce spot for Depaul to rub some little kid's nose in the dirt to make up for their frustrations.

adding:

Detroit -5.5 2H for 1 unit - how they clawed back from down 13 to only down 4 shows what they are capable of. I expect the shooting %'s to switch in the 2nd half.

DePaul -6.5 for 1 unit - throwing another unit on the Blue Demons

a terrible 1-4 on the night, technically 1-4-1 as the early 2 unit play on DePaul pushes on their late swoon despite having a double digit lead for most of the game.

Updated Record: 12-18 -8.95 units
