YTD Record: 14-14 for -2.5 units

Had a good week last weekend to get close to getting my head above water. Starting off with one play tonight:

Nebraska -3.5 for 2 units ? Homer alert as the Huskers are my team, however I think there is solid reason to play them. Weather being the biggest factor. Ton of rain in Columbia and it is going to be a sloppy game. Considering that and the fact that Nebraska clearly has the better defense and running game, mixes well with the weather. I liked Nebraska?s chances in this game after seeing Nevada run pretty freely on Mizzou a couple of weeks ago. I like it even more now with the elements helping to force a ball control type game. Nebraska having the distinct advantage in FG kicker also comes into play for a close game in bad conditions.

I didn't see the end of the game - watched it over at a neighbor's house who's a Nebraska fan and left at 9-0 to change the mojo...I'm never going to be invited over there again. #93's a monster. Nice win, homer!!

Plays for Saturday:

Utah -8 for 5 units - Utes have had an extra week to prepare for a below average Rams squad. Utah's only blemish is a loss at Autzen, which is proving to be nothing to be ashamed of as Oregon has got back on track. Kyle Whittingham will have his team ready for conference play and I see a big victory going away for them.

Marshall -4 for 5 units - RB Darius Marshall is going to run all over a very bad Tulane rush D. Marshall is underrated at this point in the season imo and I see a big W for them here at Tulane.

Ohio -3 for 3 units - I've been on the Bobcats the past couple weeks and I'm going to stick with them laying a small number against an average Akron team in my mind.

Idaho +4.5 for 2 units - Vandals have played well all season and I like them getting a handful of points against a very bad San Jose St. defense.

GL guys.

3-1-1 on the day. Utah not wanting to kick a FG at the end of either half ruined a sweep and a great day. Still a good day though picking up 6.5 units on the weekend to get into the black.

Updated YTD Record: 18-15 for +4.0 units
