Not sure what those reports are but they can't be accurate as nothing will compare to Creighton in '91 or when Nebraska was in the tournament in the early 2000's.

As for championship series, the most fans attended representing one school in recent years would have to be Texas. Not sure how to measure if that has been 'beat' that but it would certainly be doable from a subjective standpoint.
