wish he finished the season, I'm sure he demanded commitment from his players, they deserved the same commitment. Of course unless it is a health issue. Looks very selfish resigning after #900.
ppabart is correct, he left because this gives Pat a chance to coach without any bad things happening. They're not making the tourny so this just gives him great experience and also the chance to show recruits what he can do. If he would have waited until the end of the season and let Pat start next season there would have been a lot more pressure.
I think it was a gift from a father to a son trying to make his life more successful. I've loved him and hated him but all in all if I had a son going to play ball I wouldn't have minded him playing for Knight.
