Writeups later:

Delaware St. -13 over Bethune Cookman--I don't see Delaware St. letting down after the big win against Hampton. B-C may show a little quit this week.

Monmouth -7.5 over Sacred Heart--Numbers play. I have Monmouth laying 17. I don't think SH is strong enough on offense to keep this one close, even at home.

Dartmouth +26 over Yale--I have no doubt Yale will win this game but I don't know that they can cover a number this big. Dartmouth has shown enough balance in their offense to score a couple of times and Yale's running game should shorten the game.

N. Dakota St. -13.5 over UC-Davis--NDSU is on a nice roll right now and UC-Davis is struggling a bit. They have turned the ball over a lot and that should be the difference.

S. Dakota St. -6 over Geo Southern--Another road chalk pick. SDSU has played NIU and YSU tough while Georgia Southern hasn't shown much fight.

Portland St. -3 over N. Arizona--I had this one at -13.5. Portland St. has been disappointing but they should cover the small chalk at home.

1. NDSU has played bad at home this year. No idea why but they have, also, Cal Davis has played decent in the past at the Fargodome. On paper the line is about right but I am going to look into that one a bit more.

2. Take a look at Sam Houston State -8. They should pound Central Arkansas, especially after getting shut down against Oklahoma State last week.

That Dartmouth line is bad.
Yale by 11-14

Arkansas St. -2.5 over ULM--Conference opener for ASU and they are playing well. I don't see ULM being able to hold down ASU's offense. ASU must avoid the slow start like they had against Memphis and not let Dawson go wild. If they can do this, they should cover this number easily.

Troy/FIU under 54.5--Will FIU score? Probably not more than once. Will Troy stay interested enough to score 45? Probably not on the road.

Michigan -16.5 (H1) over EMU--Wolverine offense starting to show some signs of life and the defense is also improving. They should look real good against EMU's anemic offense. I can't lay the 29.5 for the game because Michigan will shut things down in the second half.

BG/BC under 60--Agree with Spang on this one. Falcons can score against bad teams but when they went against Sparty, they only got 17. BC has been strong this year but only one of their games has gone over this number.

Probably a couple more tomorrow. I'm hoping for some more line movement.
