BGSU -6 over Minnesota--BG had a nice win last week at Pitt while Minny struggled to beat NIU. If the Falcons can tighten up the defense a little bit more I think they can cover the TD.
WMU -5.5 over NIU--WMU is much better than what they showed last week. NIU may be better than I thought but not good enough to keep this one close.
Kent +7.5 over Iowa St.--Going to give the Flashes another try this week. Their defense proved to be solid but the lack of offense was puzzling. They moved the ball but three turnovers killed them. ISU was not real sharp last week but got bailed out with interceptions and big returns. I'm not sure they should lay more than a TD to anyone.
Troy +24 over LSU--Got the best of some line movement here as expected. LSU might be a little distracted this week. Their game against Appalachian St. had a little more hype than normal because of ASU's upset of Michigan last year. I think 24 is too much to cover against a pack of Trojans.
UAB +14 over FAU--FAU might be the best team in the Sun Belt, but that has been described as like being the tallest midget. I grabbed the 14 point opener knowing no Sun Belt team should lay 14 against any non-Sun Belt team. Line is down to 12 or 13 so you might want to stay away from that number.
NW -6 over Duke--Both teams had big opening wins and laying chalk on the road is not real smart. But, I think NW is going to be decent. They are efficient offensively and improving on defense.
