Penn State (+11 ?) at Alabama ? September 11

The defending champion Crimson Tide are surprisingly not favored to win it again. They are 6/1, while Ohio State is 9/2. Look for Bama to make a statement in this game, especially against a Penn State squad that has a major question mark at quarterback. Coach Joe Paterno may wish he was already retired.

Oregon State (+14) at Boise State ? September 25

Boise State already has a huge Labor Day night game with Virginia Tech. Boise is favored by 2 ?-points in a neutral location. Oregon State is another big conference foe and the outcome could decide whether Boise State makes the national title game. Heisman quarterback candidate Kellen Moore loves his team?s chances.

Florida (+3) at Alabama ? October 2

This SEC slugfest comes early this year. Alabama beat Florida 32-13 in the conference title game last year. That Gators team had legend Tim Tebow at quarterback, but John Brantley is ready to step up with his rocket arm and three years experience learning the system. Don?t count out Florida?s chances.

Texas (+3) at Oklahoma ? October 2

This Red River Rivalry game in Dallas is being played the same day as Florida and Alabama. It?s almost like the football gods planned it this way. This game could determine the Big 12 winner and quarterbacks Landry Jones and Garrett Gilbert are ready to step out of the shadows of Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy.

Oregon (+3) at USC ? October 30

The Pac-10 doesn?t have the hype of recent years. USC is mired in the sanctions caused by the Pete Carroll regime. Oregon would have been a top-5 team nationally if quarterback Jeremiah Masoli wasn?t kicked out of the program. However, both squads are easily top-20 caliber and this should be a great game.

Ohio State (+3 ?) at Iowa ? November 20

Ohio State has a great team this year, but the Big Ten is not about to just roll over. Iowa, Wisconsin and Penn State are all ranked in the preseason top-14. Iowa is even a national title contender and gets the Buckeyes at home after taking them to overtime in Columbus last year.

How do you define "some of the best" because you didn't include the October 16th Nebraska vs Texas game. That's one of the best games of 2010.

Welcome to the Big 10 +2, Cornhunka!

get ready to go 7-5 every season from now on....:142smilie

Seriously, should be great over the next few years re-establishing the Iowa/Nebraska game--can't really say 'rivalry' as Iowa trails big-time in the all-time series. Had fun the one time I was in Lincoln for a game and I'm sure I'll make the trip a few times in the coming years....:toast:
