much of thios prediction is me going off of what i saw last year. I watched about 5 arky games. They are much above average on offense, and are going to be even better...thats what much of this prediction is based on....i think their D is good enough to win a title. there have been teams who have won titles in the past, with much worst defenses. I just have a feeling about them. I think they will be much like auburn 2 years back when Cam was in town. Win some close ones, many of which the experts say they shouldnt....


all of that being said, i would not be suprised to see bama or lsu or even fla or georgia beat them. all and any of those teams can in a regular season format or a championship game....

gotta have a favorite, and may as way be the minority i suppose...

news out of their first scrimmage was the defense won the majority time against the offense. don't know which side of #1s that says more about but it hasn't been that way since petrino got there

news I read and pasted in another thread out of the arky scrimmage was the opposite. 1st and 2nd team offense scored all 9 (or maybe first 9) possessions vs number 1 and 2 defense.

just went back and checked your around the SEC thread. News about the Defense dominating was from this past saturday's scrimmage. Offense dominated the first one last week

asked the arky guy on that site about the difference and he said:

"It was 1's vs 2's in the first scrimmage.

Knile Davis hasnt participated but Dennis Johnson and Wingo have been playing with the ones. The pass rush/pressure has improved greatly"

So I guess last week it was 1 Off vs. 2 Def. but Saturday it was 1 vs 1

Arkansas should worry about the loss of one of the best coaches in Football. This will cost them 1 maybe 2 games this year. Just my 2 cents, I believe they will be 4th in the west this season.
