marshall+4(125)....

marshall is coming off an humiliating loss to vt....while bg is coming off a tough loss to missouri.....

i know vt last week rushed for an incredible 444 yds. against marshall....but i think this is a bad spot for bg as they are coming off of playing well vs. 2 bowl teams & has a revenge match next week against boise.....

i also think bg is very over-rated because of how they played against troy & missouri....but those teams are predominately passing teams while mu is mainly a rushing team who imo will do well vs. the bg defense....

marshall has returned 16 starters from last year's team & has a pretty capable rushing attack behind back darius marshall who put up impressive numbers (109 yards) against a very stout vt defensive unit.....bg has returned 10 starters from last year as well as having a new coach....i think mu will be able to run effectively because bg replaced their entire defensive line from a year ago....

last year as the season progressed, mu's defense, under rick minter was showing improvement & i look for them to rebound vs. a very mediocre bg offense....

marshall has been an ats nightmare over the last few years but since 1999 they are 8-2 ats as a home dog....

so far this week i have made these plays.....

the texas tech situation....

the texas tech situation....

i got this info from a person who is supposed to be familiar with texas tech.....take it fwiw because i haven't verified any of this....

3 of their top 4 DE's were either injured against Rice or in practice this week. Now another one isn't traveling either. That means that the Red Raiders are now without their top 8 DE's from last season for a myriad of reasons. The only DE by position that they are taking is true freshman Pearlie Graves and even he is projected to play DT in a year or two once they can add more size (he's already over 260 lbs) to him in the offseason. The other two guys that will see a lot of time at DE will be OLB' Daniel Howard and Bront Bird. Tech's only other option is to remove the redshirts of two other true freshman that weren't even expected to contribute in 2010. With Texas already saying that they plan to run the ball with McCoy...this one could get ugly tomorrow night!

Also theTexas Tech starting strong safety Mitchem isn't making the trip either......

good luck....

They had the Texas Tech talk show on last night here in Austin and they said the same thing as the above post. Down to two DE's unless they remove the shirts of the freshmen. The starting safety also not dressed and didn't travel.

i just found out that cin. lost their best defender to injury....so i decided to buy the cin. bet back....

CINCINNATI -- Starting linebacker Curtis Young is expected to miss up to six weeks for No. 17 Cincinnati after having surgery on his right knee.

The senior had surgery Friday, leaving the Bearcats (2-0) without one of their best defensive playmakers Saturday at Oregon State. Young started in Cincinnati's wins over Rutgers and Southeast Missouri State, making 13 tackles with one sack.

Coach Brian Kelly also announced on Friday that sophomore defensive back Malik James has left the team to return home to California.

so my play looks like this....

cin+2(120)
oregon st+2 (120)....

good luck...

wash.st+6....

i know wsu is an awful team....but wsu played stanford & hawaii, 2 teams with considerably better offenses than smu & since smu's spread offense is similiar to hawaii's, i think wsu will be better prepared.....also from 2006-2008 smu has gone 1-17 su on the road....then last week as a double digit dog, they beat uab on the road.....there must have been some elation by smu to finally get another road win....i'm looking for smu to give a flat effort against wsu.....it's now or never for wsu to win a game this year since they start to play the other pac-10 teams....

play on - home underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points (wsu) - terrible defense from last season - allowed 425 or more total yards/game, with an experienced QB returning as starter......

since 1992 the ats record for this system is....26-7.......78.8%......

good luck....
