Neither of my books have totals or runlines for the college world series. Looks like we are going to have a good finish in the first game.

Moss is the X factor for Texas. If he can get on base tonight, then he should manufacture a couple of runs on his own. In what promises to be a low scoring affair tonight, Moss' speed could be the difference.

Miami +135
340.74/460

I'll take the Canes at this price. The pressure is on the defending champs tonight! Miami has nothing to lose after getting trounced by Texas in the first game. The Horns used their entire bullpen last night against Rice. If Miami can get to Texas' starter for a few early runs, it's anybody's game. Braun is due for a breakout game.

Good luck!
;)

how in the fuhk did the ump that called last night's game get selected for the CWS? Ray Charles could have called a better game.

I loved how the belt-high, middle of the plate pitch was a ball every time, but the same pitch, off the plate, was a strike.

Monk,

Overall, the umpiring has been very consistent. Every pitcher is getting the low strike. However, last night's home plate umpire did struggle with a few calls, not that it mattered in the end. Good luck today!

you are so right, i don't know what he was looking at or ignoring. really hate to see that in any game much less a play-off
game. only saving grace is that it wasn't against our horns.;)
just need to pull them in against rice this evening.

Stanford +115
695.65/800

The Cardinal are too good to lose to anyone five times in one season, especially with their ace on the mound. Stanford had a really good shot of winning the first game, and I think they'll get the job done today with their backs against the wall. The way I see it, one of the dogs should win today, and I like Stanford a lot more than Texas.

Good luck to everyone!

Wow, I needed that! Now that I'm $800 richer, I'll put a little on Texas tonight. Love the value!

Longhorns +170
29.41/50

Good luck!

Gotta' take a shot at this price. The Cardinal were good to me yesterday, maybe they can pull the upset one more time. You never know with hitters like Quentin, Garko and Ash. Stanford is well coached and they're fundamentally sound. Value play for me.

Good luck to everyone!

What a gutsy effort by Stanford! I feel so bad for Turner. Should be a great finals.
