Poon - I know you ended up in the Boulder area and I have been watching the news coverage of this flood, hope you are well. Looks fucking nuts.

Also, Hawkeye I know you are north Denver and I dont know if you are that far North as Longmont, but that city is getting destroyed. I hope you are well too.

Work in Boulder but our house is south (near Hawk) in Westminster so am fine. Boulder, Longmont, Estes Park and all those areas are in real bad shape. I was able to make it up to Boulder today taking back roads as some major roadways are still impassable. Pretty crazy scenes and some co-workers have been hit really hard. Even if their houses are fine they are likely having to go to water boiling precautions.

Thanks again for thinking of us.

This picture is about 100 yards from my daughters old school (you can see it back there) and less than 1/2 mile from the house we still own. This was on the front of Yahoo News today. Hard to fathom since that house is at 9,000 feet! And it flooded? Incredible scenes out there. Have a very close friend trapped in Longmont as there is no way out. They are getting people out in boats about a mile from his house.

Best wishes to those in that great state!

I am safe--alot of rain but got my lawn mowed today. Looking like a major storm right now over my house. 6.5 inches of rain here in 3 days.
Traveled many of those roads this summer-yep Agent right by that school house-(wonder how that great bar is doing near your old home??--while driving my son and his family around when they visited this summer.
A big mess-was just watching it on TV--wow
