So. Cal
why in the hell would indy go for it???

they did exactly what they should have done, ran the ball hoped to get the first down, then keep running it for a td/fg and run the clock down or kick the fg if the first down failed.

vinateri just missed the kick, although i swear that ball went over the upright....still think the penalty on the colts was bs on 4th down.

At the bar
They did the right thing even though I wanted a TD since I had the spread. Vinateri doesn't miss often

Colts did the right thing. I think Vinitieri is still on the Pats' payroll.

with field conditions the way they were a fg is not automatic.............

I just question their play calling the last 3 and a hafl minutes.......run run run right up the middle.........note to Dungy.............you can still run the ball just maybe mix it up a little with maybe a draw..........on second thought...........JUST KEEP DOING WHAT YOU WERE DOING TO GET BACK INTO THE GAME.............DONT GET FRIGGIN SO CONSERVATIVE..........

I agree with that. They were moving the ball at will and probably would have scored a TD rather easily if they stayed aggressive. Def would not have gone for it on 4th, but they shouldn't have been so easily settling for a FG leading up to that play.

The penalty was seemingly bs, but there is no doubt the intent there was to draw them offisides and thats why the slot guy moved the way he did to act as if he was going back to pass block. So I dont know the rule but I can see the thought in it being a penalty-kind of like when the QB exaggerates his cadence movements.

Also, before the play you could quite easily see Dungy mouth to call timeout at one second on the playclock - they never intended to run a play there.

The people who bet the Colts last night were on the wrong side of the dare I say fix. Peyton Manning two weeks in a row now has done exactly what he can to lose Joe Public money. Dont believe me? Thats fine. How come he forgets how to play when approaching the redzone? I loved the Chargers last night since all the mula was on the Colts. Dont trust Peyton Manning. EVER unless hes the public money is on the other side of him.

not sure how anyone could argue they should have went for it and I am pretty sure there is not a team in the league that would have. that was a chip shot field goal. why risk getting stuffed? they would have been up with a minute left and san diego with no timeouts.

Its ridiculous ehy? What is ridiculous is that he can blatantly do it and fools like yourself simply refuse to believe what is going on right in front of you. Manning can go a whole season without throwing 6 ints. He wouldnt have hqad to throw any yesterday but the Chargers were scoring early so he needed to do it to keep that score under the total. He did it real obviously last season when the Colts played the Chiefs and everyone was on the over. Keep watching and Ill call another one later in the yr involving the Colts. I think they play the Chiefs this upcoming week and I bet the Over line is set high and I bet the Colts go over the mark by themselves. How could the greatest QB possibly of all time throw 6 ints in one game? He wanted to is the answer. I posted this same thing last yr and was laughed at. Im laughing all the way to the bank. Its still just my opinion but its so obvious I cant believe people havnt picked up on it yet. Im not sure why he does it ior who he is doing it for but he is doing it. Dont shoot the messenger. Players have admitted in yrs past that they have fixed games and theres no reason to think some still do. Keep living in lala land if you wish. Good luck with that.

Nice cash with the +6 but the real money in thet game was either the Pats -5 or the Colts moneyline. They both lost in a real dramatic last few minurtes of the game. He didnt want to throw 6 picks but he had to to keep the score low since thats where all the money was being bet. Listen you dont have to believe me but when the greatest QB possibly of all time throws six Ints in one game and all the money is on the over and its not the 1st time you have to open your one tracked mind and see the NFL as the BUSINESS that it is. 6 interceptions? Is that a record? LOL then he acts all pissed off. Hes a real bad actor also.
