Why not ask for a replay on the pass that's caught and overruled as an incompletion? The receiver took at least 2 steps with the football before he's hit. I always thought that made it a reception.
He's probably afraid to. I think he had something like 15 straight challenges while in TB that he lost? Something like that. It was pretty funny...he got SOOOOO screwed on some of them too... After a while you just knew he had no shot at winning a challenge.
But ya, if you make a "football move" or whatever it is they call it, after catching the ball it's a catch. He should have got his assistant coach to throw the challenge flag.
