Marvin Harrison is expected to return to the Indianapolis Colts' lineup against Buffalo on Sunday after a one-game absence.
The team's leading receiver went through practice this afternoon and experienced no problems with a strained right hamstring that forced him to miss last Sunday's 38-31 win over the New York Jets.
"I was out there playing around and I felt good," said Harrison. "I just don't want to do anything stupid to re-injure it."
Barring Harrison experiencing tightness in the hamstring Saturday or Sunday, Coach Tony Dungy anticipates Harrison being active against the Bills. Harrison might not start, but "he'll be available to go," said Dungy.
"We'll go on the side of caution anyway. We definitely won't overwork him. He's not going to start and play every play, that's for sure."
If Harrison comes off the bench, Reggie Wayne and rookie Aaron Moorehead will start.
Harrison is the team's leading receiver with 56 receptions, 777 yards and seven touchdowns.
Several Colts will miss the Buffalo game because of injury: offensive tackle Tarik Glenn (knee), tight end Marcus Pollard (knee), safeties Idrees Bashir (shoulder) and Cory Bird (groin), wide receivers Troy Walters (hamstring) and Brandon Stokley (concussion) and linebacker Jim Nelson (clavicle).
