Was at the game. Stayed through. Had the 10 year old. They had a disturbingly entertaining mascot vs 10
year olds at half and the mascott gave kid a forearm shiver that sent him flying.
so third quarter starts and the programs were all turned to planes and one almost hit their punter but there were tons that dove into the back of peoples heads.
i got the kid to agree that if we were down 4 scores in 4th that we would head to hotel and use the pool/hot tub but he said they were coming back and I said “this isn’t PlayStation “ I thought well what if it did happen I would regret it all to beat traffic. Plus it was only 2 or so. About the second score I’m like it’s a sliver of a chance and then once got to two scores they started playing the skol chant or don’t stop believing during all commercials. The place was electric and I got goose bumps thinking about it. I’m a pessimistic Viking fan with some optimism but the boy
is all pure football. He has no heartache, he has no blood,
Sweat, and tears with this organization and I don’t want him to take it as serious as I did growing up but after yesterday I think he’s 100% hooked. It’s all he can talk about and reminds me when I was a kid watching the “Miracle at the Met” (Google it) with my dad about the same age. Hopefully the curse doesn’t live through him like it does with me and did my dad. Hopefully he has been r the one to enter this at the right time and see big wins.
