Well I have to say, no one has rooted harder for this team since they moved here. Especially in the recent years of Manning and company. But I haven't seen a team melt like that in a l--o--n--g time. To start off 13-0 like that, and then finish the way you did is just fukced. I feel for Coach Dungy, as his world has been turned upside down in the last month and he really is a class man. Peyton is great in this community, and so are a lot of the players. But heres my point of this post, I think the window for them is now closed for awhile. I think we will lose Edgerrin and maybe a few others and if we couldn't get it done at home this year, not even 1 win, well that is a SERIOUS issue. We have a good defense now but its only good when we are playing in front and can force you to play our game. Pittsburgh ran it right at them about 14 straight plays and kept us on the sidelines. Lets not forget this game was NEVER close until maybe the worst call I have ever seen overturning that interception. Then even that wasn't enough, and we get the incredible break of Jerome's only fumble of the year! Only to have our Corner get run down by a fat ass QB because his Wife stabbed him in the knee. Then Peyton tries to do TOO MUCH instead of running on 3rd and 2 and Vandy shanks a 46 yard FG. In the end, I guess an entire month of meaningless games and standing on the sidelines changed everything, and what a DISGUSTING end to the year of Football for me. :cursin: :cursin:

Agent,

I wonder if Dungy and the coaching staff regret resting the starters against Seattle and Arizona. The big four (Manning, James, Harrison, Wayne) faced an opposing defense for the first time in 4 weeks today. There was no rhythm to the offense until the third quarter. In my opinion, too much rest is counterproductive.

I agree, their incredible performance during the regular season really put them in a dammed if you do - dammed if you dont position. If you play them to keep the Mo, you risk the injury to a starter. If you rest them, well we see what that did.

Vegas Baby !!
Agent,

Very honest opinion from an Indy fan. I admire the fact that you came on and told it like it was. Kudos to you for being a big enough man to come back and give an unbias account of how your team lost. The Pitt pass rush was more than anyone could have predicted. Bettis gave you some hope at the end, but it wasn't meant to be. Good luck with your future bets !!

I agree... Everyone hypes Manning up way too much. He's just not a team leader and still doesn't now how to manage a game in the playoffs.

BTW - Did you hear him blaming his lineman for protection issues. Now on top of being a choke artist we all can call him a crybaby now...

hang in there agent :) its hgurts like hell when your fave team loses, esp. when ur younger, as I get older i hardly have a fave team anymore, but instead gets diced up in tuff beats hehe

to call PM anything but a great qb doesnt make much sense to me .. i had colts as big as anyone etc, but the fault doesnt entirely lay on anyone's shoulders, the team lost it as whole with staff and lets give pitt their due, they came in determinded and initial push carried them thru

I agree with all of the above. Very, very dissapointing. I dont see them doing anything in the next 2-4 years now because the core will have to break up. :cursin:
