While I was away at the cottage, I did some research on the Olympic teams, and with all my numbers plugged in, I see Canada not winning the Gold

There will be a mild surprise as to who will win, but then again those are according to my numbers only!

You asked me earlier about Boston over Philly in the playoffs. I wouldn't do anything long term with the Bruins. I can't say for sure but historically, the Bruins don't pay their players. That being said, Guerin & DaFoe are going to be unrestricted free agents come July 1, 2002.

IMO - I'd wait until the after trade deadline on 3/19 before doing anything like Boston to win the East Conf...Just to see what O'Connell (GM) and Jacobs (owner) do to trim the payroll or what players they get in return for those two in possible trades.

I have heard the the Bruins want John Grahame to be their future so it wouldn't surprise me to see DaSave be elsewhere come March. I hope I'm wrong about that.
