Two days in a row the METS have given up a run scoring hit to a CUBS pitcher... hmmm maybe they'll start pitching around them! Today, LIEBER knocks in the 4th run...

Just got home. Listened to grueling end of game on radio in car. Oh well, dems the breaks. We took a shot and missed. I'd play the same play over and over again. It was the right play, just didn't count on the Mets letting us down. It seems EVERY time Piazza has a chance to win it for me, he doesn't (strike out in eighth) and every time he has a chance to lose it for me (v NYY 2 Sun ago) he does (2 run homer to cap off 6 run 8th).

At least fading the Mets this year has been profitable, and should continue to be.

Hey Allnet, Is there a waiting list for the Terrible 6?
