GW, I respectfully disagree. Examples of poor sportsmanship are not only acts that are egregious like what you have shown. And yes crowds yell and boo, but crowds at games aren't the "sportsman", they are spectators.

If you are a player in a game and you yell at a guy to break his concentration, you are (IMO) just as weak, if not more so, than the guy who actually lets that yelling interrupt his concentration. This type of behavior also makes you a poor sportsman....at least in my book.

I still see this type of thing when I play pick up ball at the gym. I'll be on a fast break and some clown will come flying up behind me as I'm laying the ball up stomping his feet and yelling like an idiot. I usually just ignore it....but i know he is not a good sportsman.

I play in a league where we use barbed wire as flags, and we play bare foot in a parking lot of broken beer bottles, and drug needles, behind the church.

We have a local bookie who books these games. Much like yours, he takes action a week in advance on games, and has lines a point, to a point and a half in the player's favor on every fucking game!
