Mr. Kane

I increased my ram from 128 to the max 512 and it did squat

This is exactly what the dumbass at MSN informed me to do after they had me try all kind of shit that just wasted my time. Now I have Windows me on this computer...............is Windows xe pro the new windows that out? If so, is it just as easy as getting the disk and sticking into the hard drive and not hit install but hitting upgrade or something?

Also I have 18.6 GB with 10.7 free and 7.82 used.......

My fault, I use windows xp pro and I always chose the other option which I think is upgrade when I reinstall the operating system. You may notice a little change when upgrading memory but not much.

I tried to stay out of this becuase the comedy was great. Windows and performance should not be in the same sentence:D Anyway here is a site that may help you out: http://www.pureperformance.com/ there are some tuning tips there. One of the least talked about items (and most important) in regards to performance is bus speed. You can have beefy CPU and RAM and it wont make a bit of difference if you have poor bus speed, you will take a backplane hit everytime. You may want to look into upgrading your OS, ME is just a pig.

So I conclude that it was never my computer in the first place, it was that stupid MSN.(friggin slooow).(I guess they didnt want to tell me their servers or something sucks)......so from now on I will be using AOL.
