I am just guessing, but you probably have a virus.

I just got through all of this myself.

Check the recent posts, you will see mine, as I was asking about viruses from online casino's, etc.

I got rid of the virus, but my friend did it for me. He had to clean out my entire system and start from scratch. It was a real pain in the ass.

He recommended that I get Panda Internet Security 2006. He said that this is one of the best out there. It costs $80 for the year. It comes with Internet protection, anti-virus, spyware, and firewall all in one.

I just hope it works now. I had Norton, and spysweeper, but I still kept getting these viruses. Norton can blow me. I am done with them.

I think I am also going to be a lot more careful as far as which sites I go to.

I wish I new more about this shit, but I am telling you what I know.

Good luck.

the key to cleaning adware/spyware/malware/virus is that you have to boot into safe mode,

Also if your on xp, you can always just try a system restore back tot he point before your system was infected

Had this one a few months ago. Tried every software package and registry edit I could find and nothing worked. Finally came across a fourm where someone had emailed the web site and they provided a removal tool. I don't have it on my work computer, but go to the e2give web site and click contacts and request the removal tool.

Ever try saving everything you need to disk &/or bookmarks and delete all and create a new system. Sometimes it's cheaper and all the time a stress buster, especially on older systems. I still use W98SE and wouldn't change. Of course, bought my last car in 1990, don't go to church or shop at Wal-Mart.
Seriously, it would take about 2 hours for the A-Z. It's better to start your spyware on a clean system, if all else fails.

This is the gospel.
Hopefully you have XP, and restoring to a previous point is the easies solutio to your problem.
