Uh oh.....Need a little help. This is not me but a friend.
His wife approached him last nite and asked him if he was going to a "porno" site the other nite. At first he denied it but when she mentioned the site he admitted visiting it.
She says she found it in the "cookies folder".
My friend wants to know how do you access the cookies folder. How did she find that?
He deletes history and thought he erases the address by
1. internet options
2 clear history
3 delete cookies
4 " " files

then goes to options again
hit content
then auto complete
clear forms

Is my friend forgetting something? His wife says she can go to cookies folder and find everything there.

Personally I can't believe my friend would do this but he needs help real fast. real fast....My friend would appreciate help on this matter...

he would have to delete the files from the temperory internet files folder also. Even though he is clearing history some of the pages he has visited may be stored in this folder. Mebbe she snooped around and came across this

The Temporary Internet Files folder. This folder is located under the Windows directory of your system (usually C:) drive. It is where images and other files associated with web pages are stored for quicker future viewing. After a while this folder can become really clogged. It?s a good idea to clean it out once in awhile. There is an option to clear this folder in the Internet Explorer setup. Simply right-click on the Internet Explorer icon and click on Properties. You should see a dialog box which gives option to "Delete Files" under "Temperory Internet Files". Click on "Delete Files" and check "Delete offline Content"

Hope this helps

Best way I found to delete cookies is to:

right click on the start button

click on explore

look for cookies on left panel

double click on cookies

delete away

Good Luck

i was thinking the same thing, lol.

personally, im not a big porn guy, but if a guy is --who the fu/ck cares?

go to the following: my computer, C drive, documents and settings, account you log in with (administrator, your name, etc), local settings, temporary internet files, cookies....
all of the cookie folders are in your "profile" folder which is the account you log in with as i said earlier...there might be more than 1 cookies folder so you have to look around in your profile folder, but more often than not when you click on your profile, the cookie folder will be either in the temp internet file folder, local settings folder, or both...you'll have to look around a little in the profile folder...you know you are at the folder with the profiles cuz all of the people that log into the PC will be there and you'll see 2 profiles there "All Users" and "administrator"....hope this helps

Thanks LoungeLizard, I only had 986 cookies to get rid of. I have always gone to the Internet Options and then deleted cookies, but apparently they aren't all there. Now I know where to find them. Hopefully this will speed things up for me.
