Just installed Mcaffee security and it is telling me that C:/windows/ system32/exdl.exe is requesting access to the internet

Do I want to allow it?

On the course!
I don't have an answer, but I am sick of my computer's sound system. (Not meaning to intrude on your thread, but this way, maybe we can both get help.)

I have had this new computer for about 9 months, and the sound has been shitty from Jump Street. It just sounds like an anouncer at the ball park every time I play a cd, or listen to a thread with sound. I have tried everything I can on this end, and I really don't want to take the computer in, as I love to use it every day. WTF???? How do I rid my system of this "echo chamber" effect?

Not speakers. I used the ones that came with the set up, then switched back to the old ones.....same shit.

The speakers worked fine with my old system.

I had a Dell with a Soundblaster card that also had something called Creative Playcenter and that program had all sorts of different settings that could make things sound weird. If you have Playcenter, open it up and look around in there. You'll see alot of different effects. Make sure it's set to "none". Probably not it, but it's worth a shot.

You can check out a few things, there should be an effects setting on your sound device, change it to another effect like room or concert hall, and if not an "effects" setting, there may be a echo/resonance adjust, although that usually comes on the microphone setting in the control panel.
