It downloaded ok now it asks my what to use to open it and give me like 15 programs but none of the seem to be working. Any advice???

are you sure the file extension is *.jpg?
it's not opening because it is unfamiliar with the extension.

You can open it with anything that allows you to see pics. If you dont have any programs you can use word or internet explorer.
file>open>browse>file

I have tried word and excell and ie..........she sent it from a mac.....I have a gateway.........Would that make a difference?
Also when I get the window that asks me what I would to open it with it goes from a to z with diff programs..ie acrobat,excell, micro word...etc.
It come up when I used word but its just a bunch of mumbo jumbo..###0**** that kind of stuff.....

yes mav, there's your problem.
you'll actually need to install a software on your hard drive that will convert these Mac files.
I have a software called Conversions Plus 4.6 that will do the trick. I don't have a problem sending you the cd in the mail if you send it back, that is if you want to go through all the trouble.
