Computer question

Just installed windows XP, and love it. Now I have adjustments to make. Here's the deal, some pictures won't download, can't start the web games on yahoo etc. What adjustments need to be made. Cookies???? Internet security????

Yah may need to enable Java and/or Flash for games, the browser should have a setting to automatically show pictures.The next thing yah need to do is visit windowsupdate for any updates/patches and to make sure you're at Service Pack 2, which includes many security features.
