Playing NE-3(-120),under 43 NE/Indy in AFC.NE will try to go Parcells today,ball control.They'll score and eat clock against the non-championship caliber Indy defense.I'm not a hater of Manning,Dungy or the Colts,they'd be a team that as a fan one could enjoy and get behind.Its just that even though they are undefeated as a road dog this season,I feel they are playing the only team in the AFC that is better than them right now,in conditions that favor the home team.If Indy does get to the Superbowl it will take their QB winning and covering for the first time at NE,it will mean a dome team winning outside to go to the Bowl for the first time.They would really have to earn it,from a team that is coming off their only non cover of the year at home.The first game NE's offense just carved up Indys D for the first three qtrs.From the looks of the KC game last wek,Indys D hasn't improved since then.Also parlayed NE-1- with under 21- 1st half.In the NFC it seems the whole world is on Carolina+4 at the very least,and the daring amongst us are taking Caro ML.I say they're gonna flinch in the glare of the largeness of todays game.Caro is certainly talented enough,but its all about figuring out who is gonna play better than expectations today.The eagles advanced but did not cover last week.Caro has covered two playoff games so far.They are due for a less perfect performance,where I look for one of the Eagles best performances of the season today.To me they looked like the team that was going to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl all year.I hate the fact that they were on freaking SI's cover but am hoping this is one of those rare instances the jinx doesn't work. In the eight playoff games so far two home fav's have covered and six road dogs have covered (Balt started out favored by 1 vs Tenn.)I'm looking for that to even out a bit today,I'm playing both favorites.Phila-4 in the late game.GL either way today.GL either way
