I had a lot of money on Michigan. . . I took it up the ass once again in college football so its time to go back to what I'm good at with college basketball.

Just wanted to congratulate those on USC even though its difficult for me to do. . . I actually felt Michigan did the best they possibly could with coaching ability (they simply aren't the best coaches) and everything else yet USC won by 2 tds still. This is a very good USC team with superior coaching which is dangerous.

Special congrats to Scott4USC. . . nice win buddy and enjoy the extra 9k :D

just a hypothetical:

obviously had michigan myself as a pretty strong play.
you have any regrets taking michigan?
would you play em tomorrow again at +7? you think theyre capable of covering +7 tomorrow?
or what line would you think is accurate enough for these two teams where youd lean michigan if they met again tomorrow (in a vacuum)?

me personally, i dont regret playing michigan whatsoever. they had their moments.

but i dont think an even 7 was an accurate representation.

id take michigan tomorrow at +10 or +10.5

i think usc is deserving of laying low DD. not to the point where michigan doesnt/didnt belong on the field, but trojans are now an elite team imo

your thoughts?

michigan did their best..but usc could've run up the score more if they wanted too...glad they didn't though...they won like a true championship team

I think you are dead on right Gman. . . even before finishing your post I was thinking maybe 10.5 or so as the line and you already said it!

No, I don't regret putting a decent percentage of my bankroll on Michigan because I felt I was right about their Oline being superior. Clearly I was wrong as the USC Dline is much much better than I thought even though I knew they were good. But they got to Navarre a ton and that's when he is forced to play a game that he isn't good at playing.

All of this being said, Michigan was honestly lucky to lose by only 14 and play USC to a draw in the 2nd half. If Michigan had opened their playbook from the beginning as they should have, it may have accounted for another TD, but USC certainly could have accounted for more points in this game as well.

USC has all the tools. . . great athletes. . . a young team that can continue to grow. . . and superior coaching. I have a feeling Norm Chow will get picked up soon but for now USC is riding high and next year should be another great season for them. If they don't win the national championship again, it will be a huge letdown to that program.

I still would take Michigan at +7 again. but your right Sdog, michigan was just out coached plain and simple. I really thought that O-line of Michigan would of made a difference, but it did, just not in my favor. it was a decent game though.
