Well,
Get ready Randy cuz your young offensive line will have to play with the big boys this week. Out of CT's 10 (2deep) 7 had never played a down before this season. That said......Terry Caulley will run and get his yards.......He is strong, quick, fast and a natural. After that I think that Matt Bonislawski (qb trying to replace Orlovsky) takes one on the chin and has a growing experience...Another bright spot for the Huskies should be return specialist Larry Taylor ....one of the best return men in the land....(ly 31+ypr) He'll face a weak special teams coverage this week and should give Ct field position on a few occasions. I give Ct between 10 and 17 points.... Tech allowed Ct 20 yards on the ground...225 total... last year and have been tough against the run this year as well..GT also blocked 2 punts last year and will be coming again this year.
Georgia Tech presents the Ct secondary with a couple of problems...namely 6'4" calvin Johnson (all ACC and roy) who had 10 receptions for 180 yds last year....add DeMarcus Bilbo who had 8 for 131.........add balance with PJ Daniels who has been running for 100 per and it looks like a day for the Home team.......Now I hate to do this...and CT has, in the past, PROVEN that they can play with... and beat..good teams but not yet this year. We'll see....I'm taking Georgia Tech for a small 1/2 unit play and I'll go to school on this game.

Rutgers -21

Buffalo D can keep them in games but Greg Schiano has a very talented offense that should wear the Buffs down...once again. Looking for a result similar to Rutgers/Villanova....38-6. Drew Willey gets the call this week and Buffalo should move the ball a little better but they do not have the weapons on offense. Look for Ryan Hart to throw for close to 300 and the Rutgers D will not be embarrassed by the Buff's O.
Blowing a huge lead to Illinois, in the final quarter, has to hurt but I believe that Buffalo is just what the doctor ordered before Rutgers gets into the thick of conference play. 1unit

Idaho +13.5.............. is better than last few seasons and in particular last year when they gave up 40 ppg......Idaho is a perfect 2-0 ATS and is likely to move the ball well against the "Huskies" who gave up a ton of yards to Cal on the ground and in the air. Washington brings back 9 on offense but that O was last in the nation in scoring last year. Washington gets the W but single digits is likely. 1 unit

Fresno +2.5.......very successful ATS and straight up against Pac
10 teams over the years and this will be another very good year for Fresno..17 starters return from a team that was in the top 25% on offensive ypp and defensive ypp. Could be their year in the WAC......good game..I like Fresnos running game and strong secondary. 1 unit

other plays:

oklahoma +6.5......linemakers are catching up here.. 1 unit

Kentucky +2.5......Indiana 35-31 over Nicholls St. ... 1 unit

Tennessee +6......Too good to get this many points in a game that they can win outright ....1 unit

Ar182....Thanks and good luck to you also!
