Thisisbad, you have done your duty and then some. I would like to see the thread continue, but I can't do it and it is nigh onto football season. Thanks for taking the time and keeping all the records. Just a suggestion for the future (next year), let everyone keep track of their own records. That would save you a large part of the work. I will keep posting until you stop and thanks again for doing all the work.

Today's Play: Pitt\St L UNDER 9 -106. K. Wells ERA barely over 3 in his last 5 on the road and Benes is 1.53 in his last 5 starts.

Excellent job with this thread all year long, Thisisbad. I do agree that most people are probably starting to turn the majority of their attention towards the football season. I, for one, used to post fairly often, but now am concentrating on football more and more.

Do love one baseball play for today though, and that is Atlanta -1.5 -125

If Hampton Vs. Glavine isn't a major pitching mismatch, I don't know what is. Hampton has never got it going this year and has ugly numbers all the way around. 3-11 on the road, 6.90 ERA 7-13, 6.41 ERA for the year. Also, not sure if last year matters much but Hampton went 0-2 with an ERA of just under NINE vs. the Braves last year.
Meanwhile Cy Young candidate Glavine continues to roll right along. 16-6 mark, 2.60 ERA for the year.....I'll take my chances with Atl winning this one by 2 or more. Good luck all.

Just back from vacation (Cape May)....I think it looks like the consensus on the consensus is to "let it die". Which is okay with me....I think it was both fun and profitable for all of the players. I kinda like the idea of having everyone post their own records ( no fear of cheating since the only thing at stake is "bragging rights" anyway if you have a good stretch.

To go with this suggestion would be to paste the odds so everyone would know what is being used since some players seem to be out of the loop on how this thread actual began. This way any new players that join would be able to contribute equally.

Anyone know what's up with Mack who created this thread...just curious.
