Hudson starting to get in a groove

It is weak to ban big faves. If you do you are saying youd never bet the Yankees, Unit or Schilling, MAriners, or against Tampa Bay. That is the essence of gambling, betting that the great teams will beat the horrible ones.;)

tough board today it seems. Nice call for those of you that took the over in the cubs game.

Taking the over in the san fran/arizona game tonight. Seattle looks good as well since erickson got rocked by the M's last time, but I believe the bats come out tonight for San Fran.

as far as the chalk goes, I really don't care. But I really don't see the point in posting a 300 favorite. Of course that is an easy pick or it wouldn't be 300. Just my opinion.:nono:

Not to be a bandwagon jumper, but I have to go with OAKLAND tonight as well.

As for the big chalk, I have no real opinion. In the real world, I don't bet on them unless I take the odds down using the run line. It seems like there was a similar debate a couple of weeks ago where a number of people said not to take underdogs for the consensus just to help your record, and now folks are saying don't take big favorites to help your record. I think taking the big chalk is a losing strategy in the long run, but one of the great things about this country is the right to throw your money away if you want to, so I wouldn't favor any restrictions.:nono:
