Conservatives, why do you say liberals are whiny?

Here's a quick question, mainly for conservatives. Before the recent elections when the Conservatives came into power (depending on how you want to look at that), I don't remember democrats or liberals being labeled as being whiny or crybabies, etc. Maybe they/we were, I just don't remember the labeling of things to the degree they have gone to these days.

Why do you guys continue to say liberals/democrats are whiny and only cry about things? Because your party is in power and you'd prefer negative things not be brought to light? You'd prefer that mistakes not be pointed out? You'd prefer that opinions that differ from yours be considered complaints, and not valid criticisms?

When Clinton and the democrats were in power, and the incessant complaints from the right were going on, were you guys whining? When you pointed out things that were negative from a democratic perspective, was that unjustified complaining?

Or do you honestly feel that there is only one right way to look at issues? That liberals whine all the time and are only happy if things are bad for the country.

Because as I remember it during the Clinton/demo controlled years, most of us thought things were in pretty good shape and were happy about things. And I don't even remember a lot of whiny complaining going on during Bush I.

Interested to see thoughts from both sides, but moreso from the righties.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Reminds me of the 50% that say employment/economy is heading wrong direction ;)

Since terrorist tried to take out trade center in 93 also--maybe you could share with us what steps Bill took (accomplished) that it wouldn't happen again?
While it shouldn't take you very long I know we will get same answer as from most liberals--NONE.
If you have no answers I assume we can add one more to list of liberals who qualify per thread topic---

Liberals=
strong on whining
Weak on answers
:)

DTB = Defiantly Trashing Bill...

Although I wasn't around here then, I would have to guess that during the (Bill) Clinton years (they are over, by the way, you can let it go...) you would have been considered a whiny conservative as much as you carry the torch for his negativity these days. It is truly uncanny the way you bring him into every thread - especially the ones that are negative towards Bush and Republicans. I think this is a perfect example of whiny-ness that has nothing to do with liberals - not facing the realities of today and eternally comparing every situation to Clinton by whining about what he did or didn't do.

I don't suppose you care to share an opinion in regards to my question? If you have to explain why Clinton whined during one of his press conferences or something to do it, go ahead. I figured this one would be a softball toss for the conservatives...showing why liberals are whiny. Heck, the topic has to be in the Top 3 talking points for the right, doesn't it?

In my opinion, the whiny label probably came from the overuse of protests that don't mean anything. I don't know if I have never known a time when it wasn't referred to as a "bleeding heart liberal". Not that I am taking a stand on any issues here, but just trying to answer your question of this thread.

There are some right wing groups that protest (i.e. abortion clinics, those crazy asses that are protesting military funerals, etc.) but for the most part I think protests have been a liberal thing and protests are quite "whiny".

Since we're on the subject, maybe you could share with the group what steps Reagan took(any) after a terror group blew up 250 marines in Beirut. (other than teaming up with them a short while later)

That is so weak and BS.

What are you trying to do? Shove upon others your own deficencies?
I've found that to be so true of ALL leftists, from liberals on down. I see none of those descriptions applying to any conservatives, but it does apply to ALL liberals. Add to that: "follow the biggest nut job around" and you'll have a pretty good liberal description.

Now I'm not talking politicians here, necessarlly, they're worse. Just among regular folks.

Why are liberals whiney? Because not only can they not accept the world as it is and work towards improving upon it, but they want to change every aspect of civilization to their particular daily whims using shameful deceitful tactics and no reasoning except whining (temporal sentiment, feelings, "not faaaaaaair", etc.).

Now that's the truth!

Unfortunately, everyone of those descriptions are currently associated with Conservatives and no matter how much name calling you care to do it will not change facts. name calling seems to be a sickness among most Conservatives as they go to great lengths to attack anyone whom opposes their ideas and you fall right into line with this.

Partisan hatred-No Congress has done so little in history and this Congress has went to great lengths to attack anyone whom disagrees with their flawed ideas. hell even the VP has been known to attack with venom anyone whom disagree's with his tragic and myopic viewpoints that have been shown to be flawed from the start.

lying-are you blind or do you just fail to admit that this adminsitration has done one thing consistently and that is dostort the truth!

no soloutions-with an approval rating hovering around 38% for the leader of the Conservative party and an approval rating of around 40% for Conservative Congress folks it's quite apparant that the American people dont feel they are offering many soloutions to their everyday issues.

Corruption-This is the most corrupt Congress in my lifetime!

Spending-Now your kidding if you feel Bush has not spent more than any liberal in my lifetime.

Talk about whiny demonstrators.

France is trying to enact legislation that would allow employers to fire younger(under 26) workers without cause and Paris is up for grabs. Huge, semi-(so far)violent protests, tons of police in riot gear. No bus service in Paris. Most flights canceled. Nobody working. The whole city is shut down.

That's the Socialist mentality where everybody feels they are entitled to a job no matter what. Thay want guaranteed employment.

Just watching this on TV and it strikes me as nuts.

If anything, it will encourage employers to hire younger workers. So if business stays strong and you're a good employee, what do you have to worry about?

If keeping on extra people as business is down ruins the company, wtf good is that?

It's not every day that you see 'temporal sentiment' weaved into a post.

I just knew you'd come in and notice! You must have a search engine working there full time.

How about some temporal progressionists here!

Oh, and you should show your buddy Chad the use of more the complex quotes features. Heck, illuminate us all.

The whole damn country is whiny. Whoever doesn't get what they want whines and complains like there's no justice. It goes for both sides. I remember a bunch of annoying as hell whiny hypocrites when Bill got his blowjob. Even with the executive and legislature in their control, you still hear nothing but endless ranting and complaining by neocons on their stupid ass talk shows. Face it, the whole country is spoiled, and very few are able to just shut up and forge ahead.
