No I would rather stay in the US. My step dad always says "you get what you pay for." I have a feeling that the prices you had quoted me on what you thought it would cost are probably more in the big cities? It costs me $109 to get my teeth cleaned. The root canal was $600. I think dental x-rays are like $12 each. It's kind of like garage labor- the bigger cities charge more as do the dealers. Small town places like us can charge less. :toast:

Your right there is a huge market for that here. At most places after you have the work done they will ship you off to a private beach resort so you can recuperate and relax. All this is included in the price or the dental work I believe.

I have seen some scary, scary shit come out of those places :scared i've seen some decent work as well, the question is, are you willing to roll the dice?

I've also seen some scary, scary work in the US. I'd just say the proportion will be much higher abroad. Not to mention they probably have few safeguards and probably aren't sterilizing what goes in your mouth:sadwave:

I would be scared if they had to send you to a resort to relax and recoup. Hell I went right back to work from the dentist office yesterday and the day I had the root canal. My dentist has what they call a "no pain" root canal. I popped some advil after both appts and was good to go. Today I have no pain :0074

Yeah maybe I did not say that right lol.

What I meant was that a beach trip is usually included in the dental vacation package. Having lived here for the last 15 yrs and having 2 kids with braces I can tell you that the dental services here are not only a great bargain but also very clean and profession.

Most of the dentist and dental surgeons here have studied abroad in places like the US and other countries.
