A few things.

I clearly hear him say "I will arrest you too."

The guy may have been being a dick, however, the cop started pulling at the guy's property for no reason other than he was antsy to get involved in some way. He didn't like the guy's attitude so he found his opening. No other way to explain the tugging at his coat. If you even accidentally or arbitrarily touch a cop they call it assault. I literally laughed when he said he assaulted him with the wheelchair.

Sorry that your friend made this mistake bro.

Lastly, does anyone else find it hysterical that dude is going to lose his cop job for roughing up a guy in a wheelchair, and is going to go into physical therapy now?

"Run you fat belligerent fuck, run!!!" "I'll whip your crippled ass!"

Hope this helps,
FDC

On the course!
If you guys all hear that, than I guess I am hearing it wrong.

Still, if she treated him in a professional way, like SHE was taught......maybe the officer wouldn't have been put in that position?

None of you would have wanted to be talked to like that.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I agree that she should of just said no don't throw your jacket at me.. The cop was not going to be assaulted by what she said. The guy was assaulted cause the cop put his hands on the guy first, cop must of thought he was delaying but it seems like he was just having a hard time getting the jacket off. The cop not the woman was the reason for the assault

I agree with you bro. I did hear it differently but I don't honestly think it matters. I think they all had a hand in where this lead to though.

Listen, you can plea for the drunk if you want. I won't stop you. I can only go by what I see, and what I 'think' I hear.

I see a woman not making eye contact with the individual she is talking to, and telling him in a blithe way, something she knows he isn't going to want to hear.

"I need your jacket."

"My jacket?"

"You can't have it on the unit."

Now, up until this point, Mr Drunk was just chillin' in his ride. Cool as a Spring breeze. But now.....

He says something to the effect of: "Oh, here then, have the fucking thing then.....Want me to throw it at cha?.........Hmm?" And he STANDS UP!

She pushed his buttons. Maybe she didn't mean to, but that's no longer an issue. Now, you need to bring the guy back around. The cop starts to step in, but neither one of them tells old boy anything to help matters, do they?

Now, a lot of you think the cop was being a dick for 'grabbing' the guys jacket sleeve. It sure looks like this was his meager attempt at defusing the situation. The drunk was still pissed, and I think he was willing to toss that jacket at little miss smart ass!

"Throw it at me....see what happens."

Now the female cop comes in, and she does her best to calm things, and the male cop seems to be trying to tell him they just need the jacket. That's when the fun starts.

You all see what happens from there, and then the 'instigator' tries to come to the drunk's aid. That's when you say the cop tells her he will arrest her, too. If he IS saying that.....I really don't blame him. It's at this point he knows he's in it up to his neck, and where is she? Standing in the corner going, "Oh, my!"

This scenario is what we call: Writing A Check Off Of My Account

You run your sewer, knowing full well that someone else is there to cover your ass!

People like that get people hurt! (Or, in this case, fired.)

I don't wish this shit on anyone.
