Cops pull over and ticket 26 bicyclists at once for running a stop sign.

I just hit a cyclist on the way home from the golf course, because they ran a stop sign!!!
I was very lucky that he only scratched my car's paint a little bit, and the dent was minor, and that he went over the hood and never got a look at my plates.
He was moving as I sped off, so I hope he learned a lesson out there today.

We have an awesome trail system here. Not sure why anyone would want to ride on the road with cars. I did a trail ride today. Windy as phuck and hot as hell. Not great stats but I got some miles in. I drive county roads to and from work every day. These are the type of roads with no shoulder. I see guys biking on them every day. Can't believe no one has gotten hit yet. I'm sure, actually positive, one of those bikers are going to die on those roads one of these days.

Yeah they should all put the bikes away and get back in their cars. That will solve a lot of problems. :facepalm:
Dude they are not riding to work. They are joy riding with their tight spandex pants and silly aerodynamic helmets blocking traffic and breaking the rules of the road. Although I can understand your bias with the spandex.

Up here they don't ride in place of cars for work or transportation.....They ride in vacation packs, 300-400 riders a day peddling the back roads of Maine.....Most are families that have never been on these roads before with no breakdown lanes just dirt shoulders....At least 10 people have been killed this year and more that have been hit.....
As a driver you pass 10 bikers go 1/3 of a mile slow down and wait to pass 15 more bikers, go another 1/3 of a mile and do the same.....It's dangerous for bikers and frustrating for drivers.....:sadwave:
Bikers/joggers just have that smug attitude that "You gotta share the road with me so I'm gonna make sure I take my part of it".
It's fucking ridiculous. Would it really kill a jogger to move the hell off the road for half a second so you can pass them when going up a hill you can't see over or around a bend? Apparently it would because they sure as hell ain't moving over. They just look at you out the side of their eyes to see your reaction.

Some things are better left up to the imagination, spandex does not allow for that. :lol:
