The warantees alone are worth the membership. If you read the fine print on everything except computers you'll notice there is no time limit on returns. Example; Bought a Lexmark printer and returned it after 2.5 years because it was slow, they gave me cash without a question. Bought a digital camera and returned it after a year because the newer one had better quality pictures. I gotta tell you this is the best warranty in the business.

You got that right. Return anything (except computers) ANYTIME!

Used their services (American Express Insurance) and saved about $700 per year on Donna's and my car insurance. (And it aint Geiko! :))

Good for you hogman. Just don't expect it to last forever, because they cut it back out here. A Grocery Manager I used to work with made a bonus of barely over $100 in a store that has sales in the high 300,000 in a decent area. Hell, they don't even want to schedule people six days anymore unless you are a DH. Also curious as to what a top scale clerk makes out in Mass. Regards.

The old old comp. I worked for (Star Mkt.) which was bought by shaws paid clerks very well. Our highest price clerks command upwards of 21/hr.

$100 bonus? Jesus, as an asst. last year, I took home 1600 before taxes. high 300...hmm...my store is in that range...our bonuses are broken down by mkt area, our lowest stores in the mkt area being 160K/wk, convenient stores basically, w/a few 600K+/week, many falling in the 400-500k/wk range...most dh's are looking at around a 2500 pretax bonus.

Top scale clerks are now lucky to make 12. I think my head baker/full timer/unofficial assistant makes 12.5, which is an absolute bargain basement price.

We have a 44 hr max, but only 44 if you work sun, and take a short day one day... = 6 days. otherwise, 40 hrs. I do the 8 sunday/w/2 six hour days, until they say otherwise..

get my email from jack , or i'll get yours, so we don't bore the board too much more.

I responded by email hogman. Lol, don't want to bore the natives. :mj14: As for Costco, have never been a member. I know in SoCal some that were old Price Clubs are under the teamsters and don't know if prices are any different in those stores.
