I placed a wager with one of the Online sites (Not sure if I should use the name)
The wager was...

Parlay (2 Teams) 09/26/01 15:12 ET
Reds (Frnandz) No Action
Phillys (Wolf) 09/26/01 (19:05 ET)
Phillys -180

Well I won the wager needless to say but I'm not sure what the No Action means... I called them and they said that the wager was voided due to a pitching change for the Reds... Well Fernandez pitched for the Reds like he was supposed to so what are they trying to do?? If you can be of any assistance please let me know.... Its hard enough to try and win parlays in Baseball then when you got this crap happening it doesn't make it any easier.... Thanks for any assistance... AM2kidz...

AM it seems like when ya put in parlay it defaults to listed pitchers and hence the pitching change killed your Phillies play

Sounds like a Big Rip Off to me.. So the bet is null and void?? They can actually get away with that junk?? Unreal... What kind of luck is that... Its hard enough to win with parlays in baseball and then when you do, something like this happens... What a joke...

no if you didnot play listed pitcher you would of just got the adjusted line and the ticket is a winner,they cannot say that all pitchers are listed because they are not only on totals inless you say they word listed pitchers i would be calling them,that is a rip off.

i think most books would pay you on the nyy bet 200/115 (approx) you should win 115 on a 200 bet.

Got your reply after I had allready posted my last comment Mad Jack... thanks for clarifying the situation... Still is very frustrating... If you know what I mean...

Winning in Baseball lately has been a stretch so when you have to deal with obstacles like this it makes it even more difficult... I would of taken the Phillies no matter who was pitching for Cincinati... Time to move on though... Thanks for everyones help...

anybook that list all pitchers without you asking is a piss poor book, starting pitchers are only about 35% of the game of baseball.
i would call bitch take what they give me and change books because that book sucks.

There are so many Books out there.... I've only used one believe it or not... Could you name one of the better ones aval... ?? LMK and thanks for the help... You say you are done with baseball after tonight are you gonna hit the pigskin more?? Good luck if you do.... Man the Giants just hit a 9th inning 2 run single to take a 6-4 lead... I need them to go with the Diamond backs for my other parlay... keeping the fingers crossed... Thanks again AM2kidz...

AM2, the book i use has 2 options:

1) listed pitchers
2) action goes
-------------------
if you check the "listed pitchers" key, if there is a pitching change, that game is VOID.

if you check the "action goes" key, the line is adjusted. so in a 2 teamer, if there was a pitching change:

---------------------
a) if you checked "listed pitcher", that game is void and it becomes a single bet.
b) if the box marked "action goes" is checked, that game COUNTS AND IS ADJUSTED to the odds for the new pitcher and the 2 teamer would count with NEW lines.

Thanks TJ.... I will start looking around for another book... Hit my Giants/Diamondbacks parlay also.. 2 for 2 tonight with one being cut up due to the pitching change... But like you said.. better than losing... Thanks again...
Time to start geering for tommorrow nights Football action.. GLTA AM2kidz...
