Tried to resist yesterday's races, but there were 3 that I just couldn't. Lost 2 of them but the 3rd one was a charm (8th). :0071
Sorry I didn't post them, but it was a last minute decision and I really didn't think anybody was around anyways.

Decided that I'm enough ahead of this Philly "work" week so I can risk some of the profits today. Besides, I really like today's races. No last minute decisions today -

1st race: 1,6 top/bot 3,7 (zacks) and tries -> 3/7/1,2,6 and 7/3/1,2,6 just like dat.

3rd: gave it a go but just couldn't come up with anything. Hammy, if you're around - 6 and 7 are the top rated hosses but, AGAIN, I ain't playin nuthin this wace. (AND that DOESN'T mean that I AM playing something... . get it? LOL)

6th race: Betting this one exactly the same way I hit that 8th yesterday.... zactas, 4,6 top/bot 8,12. and on the side ->the Longshot for Today (see bottom). BTW, it was the exacta that hit yesterday, not the longshot.

7th race: 7 top/bot w. ALL and side play is no. 8 Win/Place@2x.

8th race: See Bestest One for Today below but do add a side play on the no. 7 who I think is it's only other contender.

9th race: 1,11 top/bot 7.9.

LONGshot of the Day: What's Up (yeah, that IS it's name too).

Bestest of the Day: Incisive Strike

Good Luck.

Gee whiz, JUST missed that 9th. :0045

REALLY liked the 11 the bestest in that race and didn't make a side play on it. PAY ATTENTION to the owners, MJers just like ya do with the jockeys and trainers.

Oh well, maybe just as well I didn't nab that one cause the scween wouldn't be BIG enough :)

G.L. with them NBAers. Right now, hoss wacin is the only sport for me cause them basebawlers are just :00011 to me.
BUT, pretty soon we'll be back on the courts, U.S. TENNIS Open. Yum, yummy :)~ <-- spoused to be my tongue hanging out) : )~

Thanks Hammy, if it wasn't for you being around I don't think I'd be posting anything. You don't need to reply for me to know that you probably read most of the stuff I post. DON'T want to entice Hogman, but sure would be nice if he was around too but I got a feeling his expenses have gone up since he used to play the ponies nearly everyday. But whatever you do HM, DON'T risk moola needed for necessities on hosses even if you are a light bettor (like I am).

After I posted all of the hoopla, I noticed that it was mostly only TWO or 3,4 ? ( counting Sat. and Sunday) races that I hit that deserved all the celebrating. I was thinking of my bankaroo (it went WAY up from Sat. to Tues.) when I posted the tornado. LOL.

STILL thinking about not making that there no. 11 in the last race a side bet. Grrr.. And JUST missed hitting that zacta that was another excellent payer. I had that no. 11 circled the first time I went over the entrees but it got rated a distant 3rd after I did the no. crunching. Damn.

Hammy, the methodology does work provided there's a little luck to go with the process. Handicapping IS THE BOTTOM LINE, but the other stuff I wrote about here really helps A LOT. Like....
- focusing on one track (ruins the FUN part, but helps the pocketbook) and that means knowing as close to everything there is to know about how "it runs" and that means EVERYTHING that goes with it - the people, hosses that are regulars at "your" track, conditions, trends, etc.

-WEEDING OUT THE UNPLAYABLE RACES (that is the part that is responsible for the returns this past Philly-week).

-how to put the bets together. I'm still working at figuring that one out.. like for a hundred years LOL.

There really is a lot , make that A LOT, of work to the whole process and STILL no guarantee you're gonna be a wiener.

BTW, ain't it a shame that Hollywood Park will be closing for good after this meet? Sheesh! Hate to read about a track with that much history shutting down.

Hope some of this weeks results continues next week.... we'll see.

Good Luck
