Country Club Under Investigation for X-Rated Golf Outings....

(Caledonia, Wisconsin) - For at least three summers, hundreds of golfers have gone to South Hills Country Club looking for more than a round of golf.

A FOX 6 News undercover investigation shows some golfers at South Hills engaging in sexual activities with women from a local strip club -- and it's all taking place right on the golf course. The undercover video has prompted an immediate investigation by Caledonia Police.

"We are not going to tolerate it," said Caledonia Police Chief Jeffrey Meier after viewing portions of the video. "We are going to take appropriate action." Meier said that action might include revocation of the country club's liquor license. The license prohibits much of the activity documented by the FOX 6 Investigation.

During the past two summers, FOX 6 set up undercover TV cameras on roadsides next to the South Hills golf course. The undercover cameras captured video of some golfers as they were fondling, groping and licking strippers from Heart Breakers Lounge in West Allis. Most of the strippers seen on tape are wearing little or no clothing as they "entertain" golfers in exchange for money. Several of the golfers are also seen taking off their clothing as they interact with the women. All of the activities were clearly viewed from public roads.

"I am shocked, that's just deplorable," said Racine County Board Chairman Wendell Anderson, who also viewed some FOX 6 undercover video. "It's hard to believe they'd allow that on their premises... and it ought to be stopped as soon as possible. They have their rights within the law but I don't know if that's within the law."

Racine County officials are trying to determine if the X-rated golf outings at South Hills violated any county zoning laws. The country club is zoned in a P2 (parks and recreation) district surrounded by an A2 (agricultural and residential) district. Club owners did not request a B7 (adult entertainment) conditional use zoning permit prior to the golf outings, according to Caledonia Town Chairwoman Susan Greenfield.

"This is not the kind of activity that the citizens of Caledonia want occurring," Greenfield tells FOX 6. "This is a community where people come to raise their children."

Last month, during the most recent X-rated golf outing, the FOX 6 Investigations Team observed children walking alongside the fence of South Hills golf course. The children were less than twenty yards away from strippers entertaining golfers on hole number three. FOX 6 Investigators also watched a boy practicing on the South Hills driving range during the adults-only golf outing. From the parking lot and driving range, partially-dressed women were visible in the distance.

South Hills is a private country club that opens its golf course to the public. On the day of each X-rated golf outing, the course was closed to the public, although the driving range, pro-shop and snack bar areas remained open to anyone.

A spokeswoman for South Hills told FOX 6, "We keep all the entertainment in the center of the course where it is not seen from the road." That comment was made BEFORE seeing the undercover video. After viewing a few seconds of the video, South Hills manager Tracy Jensen responded, "I have no further comment," as she walked into the country club's banquet facilities.

While the county looks into zoning issues and the town examines possible violations of the country club's liquor license, Caledonia Police are investigating whether any of the golfers or strippers should face criminal charges related to solicitation and indecency.

"We are going to investigate it to the full extent of the law," said Meier.

A manager at Heart Breakers Lounge tells FOX 6 that South Hills has been home to its golf outings "for the past three or four years," but the tradition might be coming to an end. Heart Breakers is now considering whether to cancel its next golf outing in Caledonia, already scheduled for August 11.

Golfers who attend the all-day adult-only golf outings each paid $125. The price includes green fees, use of a golf cart and several meals. A sign at the golf course snack bar read "Heartbreakers Free Beer." Undercover cameras also observed golfers consuming whipped cream on the golf course, although that appeared to cost extra.

lol, the District Attorney, judge, police chief, and mayor were probably all out on the course too when this happened. Guarantee that the authorities knew it was going on. Is that Newman from Seinfeld in that cart?
