nice game last night...what position did you play?
We lost two games we should have won & we won two games we should have lost. As a Cowboy fan, I'd feel better if it was the other way around. But, basically we are where we should be w mostly rookies on the o-line & installing a new defense. The o-line played better than I thought they would today.
Bottom line, we're a .500 team w a little bit of upside. Whenever we lose, the haters will come from all sides because of our past success. If you cant handle that as a Cowboy fan, then people like ryan are gonna piss you off all the time. And that's all they wanna do anyway.

Romo is what he is. He is a slinger. He can be one of the best QBs in the league for 3 quarters. he just is a choker, plain and simple. It is nothing new. We have seen that over and over for years now.
The problem with this team is the coaching. And the reason they have the WORST coaches in the league every year since Jimmy is because of Jerry Jones's ego. He won't hire really smart, powerful football people because he wants say and control.
Fine, he had the little Parcells experiment, but other than that, he has a bunch of lackeys running this team. The play calling is atrocious. Garrett and Wade Phillips, Chan Gailey, Barry Switzer!! It is a joke, the guys they have hired.
This defense is solid... they are just continually put in bad spots. The offense is explosive, but the play calling inside the 20 and late in games is absolutely baffling!! This is coaching. Know your team, and know your goddamn defense! No clock control whatsoever, run the ball and let the D line loose and you got a W... common sense.
Dallas was up 27-3, and Detroit scored to make it 27-10. My wife, who knows nothing about football and wasn't even watching, goes, "oye, i have seen this movie before... they will blow this game too. It's not even unbelievable (in response to me saying 'unbelievable' every 2 mins) anymore. It is actually boring to hear the same thing from you over the past 10 years. It is heartbreak every time, just give it up already. Dallas always blows it. Just expect them to blow it." I do.

My teams are the Packers and Tigers so life is good but I have endured as many shitty seasons as any of you guys. The point made about Jerry Jones is exactly correct. Go out and hire Saban already and get it over with. Pay him fucking 10 million a year or whatever it takes. Dallas sucks this year, it is what it is, I lost a few dollars on the chumps but I am over it, made it up on the Ravens. I am as big of of a Cowboy fan in here....or around for that matter. Went to all 3 Superbowls in 1990's...was a season ticket holder when I lived in Dallas and cheer my F'in ass of each and every week/year/season....no team is more frustrating to route for than Dallas!!
With that said....and I am NOT going to reply to any MORONS comments but stating some clear facts:
1) This team is 10X better now with Garrett and Ryan...
2) Romo lost 2 games ALL BY HIMSELF!! The rest of the team...played well enough to win...with exception of Phil Costa. They are playing their hearts out!!
3) Garrett is a SOLID NFL coach- Any argument about not passing the ball is kinda crazy/stupid. YES YES YES....RUN the ROCK..UN RUN RUN... but you also have to throw "a little" to keep chains moving and Romo MAKES AUDIBLES AT LINE so who knew if the play was a run/pass or AUDIBLE!!!!
4) Romo cant throw in right flat to save his FUCKIN LIFE!!! Remember Pitt game last year?? Remember Jets week #1???? Two pick 6's were right flat 10 yards out.....THAT PLAY NEEDS TO BE SCRAPPED FROM PLAY BOOK!!! NEVER THROW THAT PASS AGAIN!!!
5) Jerry Jones- Too much invested in Romo and as a fan this sucks!!! Yes...he is either hero or goat.....but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Irvin and Deion said the same thing last night!! He WONT take us to the next level and it sucks as a fan!!!! HE ALSO SUCKS AS A GM!!!
6) NO COWBOY FAN I KNOW SAYS THIS TEAM IS GOING TO SUPERBOWL or making any bold statements for at least the last 3 years...so any comments about saying we think we are great...ETC is RETARDED!!! We are a 500 team right now and much better if Romo didn't make the turnovers he makes....
We "coulda/woulda/shoulda been 4-0 if it wasn't for Romos DEBOCLES in game #1 and #4....but their are 60 PLUS plays on both side of the ball..many teams can say the same thing...we are no different. Nature of NFL!!
