The Dallas Cowboys play their second preseason game at 8 p.m. ET Sunday vs. the San Francisco 49ers at Levi?s Stadium. Here are a couple of things to watch for during the game:
Why watch: Tony Romo should be making his preseason debut but he might not be in there long considering the Cowboys will not have left tackle Tyron Smith, left guard Ronald Leary and right guard Zack Martin in the lineup due to injuries. Right tackle Doug Free is expected to play at least a little as he works through soreness in his surgically repaired foot. Running backs Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden and Lance Dunbar will be available but perhaps limited as well. McFadden returns to the Bay Area in hopes of showing the Cowboys coaches he can play a prominent role in the offensive. Defensively, the condition of the playing surface could dictate how many snaps players such as Sean Lee (knee) and Morris Claiborne (knee) receive.
