Cowboys CB Orlando Scandrick's MRI on Tuesday night confirmed he suffered a torn ACL and MCL.
Scandrick's season is over.
In his prime at 28, Scandrick was easily the Cowboys' best corner, and it now leaves Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne, and first-rounder Byron Jones atop the depth chart. Carr has been a colossal free-agent bust, Claiborne is coming off a torn patellar tendon, and Jones is working his way back from an early-camp shoulder issue after battling shoulder problems in college. Scandrick signed a contract extension in the spring and is inked through 2019.
