Wow does he rip into the RedSox and Boston fans, :mj07:.

If you want to hear the show, check out his Thundering Herd podcast. It was pretty funny.

Couple of interesting facts he covered much later.

During the 2011 season, the RedSox were 89-0 going into the situation late in the game. Now they are 89-1.

The Longoria walk off homer would not have been a home run in any other MLB park.

THIS WAS EMAILED TO ME BY MY BROTHER IN LAW WHO LIVES IN TAMPA AREA AND IS A BIG BIG RAYS FAN:

there were so many layers to this story that most people don't realize;

1) dan johnson with two outs and two strikes ties it with a homer off a former ray who he played with in spring training. this guy barely hits .100 and is a career minor leaguer. he also tore the hearts out of boston at fenway in 2008 when he flew into boston being recalled from aaa that night. he got to the game in the eigtht inning and hit a two out, pinch hit homer in the ninth against papelbon which was huge as it lead to the rays winning the east that year. that home run was arguably the biggest hit in rays history, until now. they called him up two days ago because kotchman had chest pains and went to the hospital on tuesday. he is now known to sox fans as dan "f'n" johnson!

2) carl crawford left the rays for the sox for $140 mil. he blew the catch in left field for boston and then threw like a female to home on the game winning hit by baltimore in the bottom of the ninth. that was the third hit in a row after papelbon retired the the first two batters.

3) after the red sox blew their game, they had the joy of walking into the club house to see longoria bury them with a line drive home run over the shortened left field wall (4'). why is it so low? what's the irony? the rays made it short for the previous left fielder so that he had increased opportunities for "highlight" defensive plays. it is known as the carl crawford cut-out!
