gl BDB...what are your thoughts on the total of the Lakers game? you've probably watched the Lakers play a lot more than I have this year...was wondering what you think of their D and the temp of game they would most like to play vs Phi....thanx

no opinion really on total of lakers game. philly 5-0 overs for the year, and that will change. basically a coin flip. i can tell you this. kobe and iverson will both launch as many shots as possible to try and outscore the other. the rest of the players will watch. whether or not the shots go in is a different story. but don't think you will be watching a basketball game. what you will be watching is a one on one piss contest over who can score more with 8 other guys on the court.

gun to head, i'd bet the under, but in general i'd pass.

Got nailed on the Suns last night myself, and I like Portland tonight as well, but the Pistons have already put it to me twice on this little road trip. :cursin:

Can you please tell me why you like Portland so much. Other than the Knicks, they have the wrost offense in the league and detroit has one of the best defenses. Also, what do you think of the total on the Knick game. I know G. St. puts up a lot of points at home, but two of those games were against teams that give up around 103/game. I was leaning towards the UNDER in that game, due to the Knicks inability to score but would like your opinion. I also like the Wizards at home tonight, but will stay away since whether it is side or total I can never seem to win when playing the home team's games. Thanks and good luck tonight.

the portland play has nothing to do with whos a better basketball team. detroit is a top 3 basketball team and portland is a bottom 3. but this is a situation play. detroit coming off an emotional and this is important (NATIONALLY TELEVISED GAME) last night with an impressive come from behind win over a decent phoenix squad. They are playing their 3rd game in 4 days and the end of a west coast road trip. Portland sux and has nothing redeeming about them. The knicks and even atlanta should be embarrased by losing to them. Lets just say in the NBA, winning margins have a way of being, well,.....whats the word............well, just forget it, portland stays within the number.

been wrong before, might be again, i just cannot think of a better situation to fade detroit so far this season.
