Here's the first match ups that i like
so far after watching the happy hour results.
Jarret -135 over Stewart
Marlin -125 over Benson
Burton -110 over Stewart
Mayfield -125 over Skinner
Nemechek -125 over Busch
Harvick -110 over M.Waltrip

I use to details more my picks in F1 but in Nascar i'm not the expert like Big tease or others so it's just my impressions. Eager to read your comments about these picks!

Wardog, Martin is still good but not what he was. He now is one of the boys that does not dig high speed tracks. He practices good and will qualf good. I believe he will not win this tomorrow. Guys that still like to go fast Gordon, Jarret, B.Lob,Skinner, Marlin, And the young guys Jr, Stewart, have upper hand. I have afeling if Gordon or Jarret don't win. Marlin may break through. At 10 or 12 to 1 its better then 3 or 4 to 1 for Gordon and Jarret.
1837 you have some things I Like. Marlin over Benson. Skinner over Hamilton. Nemechek over Busch. Jarret has me guessing this week. Some thing tells me to stay away from him. Park over Kenseth, Skinner or Mayfield. I Like to. Just keep Skinner off the wall. He likes the fast tracks.

NOTES:

suffered engine problems and had to settle for a 30th-place showing.
Buddy Baker was the last driver to win this race from the pole (1979).
Cale Yarborough was the last driver to win this race two straight
years (1968-69). The pole sitter has won this event nine times. This
is the 84th NASCAR Winston Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway
since the first event was held there in 1960. Bill Elliott has won
the pole at Atlanta four times, more than any active driver. Baker is
the all-time leader with seven. 13 races have been won from the pole
position, more than any other starting position. Earnhardt was a
nine-time winner at this track while Elliott leads all active drivers
with five Atlanta wins. Chevrolet has won all three races this season.
The next race on the Winston Cup circuit will be the Carolina Dodge
Dealers 500 at Darlington Raceway on March 18th.

#22 Caterpillar Dodge -

Cracker Barrell 500 Advance
"We were in Atlanta last weekend testing, but the weather prevented us from having much of a test. I think we may have made six laps at the most. That definitely isn't going to help us at all this weekend. Even though we had a good car here last fall, I'm not sure if that will help us at all. With the switch to Dodge, it's hard to say of the set-ups will even be similar. Some things may transfer over and others may not, so we'll just have to wait and see. I sure hope we can have a strong run like we had last fall ? we definitely need it." >>>

JAYSKI

My full time job since Dec 3, 1999 is actually the Jayski Website. It keeps me busy and work around 10-15 hours a day into working on it. Have not missed a day updating the site since January 1998 when I took a nice winter vacation in the Rockies of Colorado(Hi Lisa).

I remember when I hit 100 visitors/page views on one day, I thought that was amazing (The page now does over 80,000 a day).

Adding Jr. over Nemechek.
J.Gordon over W.Burton.
Good luck today.
May our selection stay on the pavement, and not in the walls.
I was going to add. I will wait one more week to see if Stewart is 100% ready. He loves to go fast. But that wreck may still be in his mind.

Same here after a hot start new this week could have some bad breaks. 4 & 3 not so hot. But if you like Nascar. Or should I say if you don't. This race should make believers out of you. Dam that was good.

wow... how many blown engines have you seen in that race? 3-4 in match ups with lots of bad break (Labonte engine, Marlin, Burton...)but as badger wrote:that's Nascar! Another point that i remarked was the trace of Dale Earnhart during that race... Don't you think "weird" that the first caution of the race was on lap 3? Have you had flashback of last year race and the end between Gordon and Harvick? Life is strange something...

I'll be back for all Formula One fan on thursday or friday with analysis of the Malaysian Grand Prix and picks for the qualification and the race. Let's kick some a$$$
