This is exactly why I carry a gun in Jville. There are individuals in this town that have no fear and have no respect for life. 5 points is not a bad part of town. My friend that got mugged last year I told you about moved to the beaches area to get away from the crime. The man that mugged him is on trial for another murder. Fred is lucky to be alive.
A gun stays in my vehicle. For Should.

His attacker, Foster Leon, now will see the rest of his life behind bars.
Circuit Judge Mallory Cooper sentenced the 32-year-old career criminal to two consecutive life sentences this morning in court in downtown Jacksonville.
"This case has haunted the city of Jacksonville," said Assistant State Attorney Alan Mizrahi.
Blakely, 40, was a disc jockey at Starlite Cafe in Five Points the night of July 4, 2008, when Leo first befriended him then turned on him. He told different people at the bar that Blakely was looking at his girlfriend or that he wouldn't play one of her requests.
Blakely testified during the two-day trial in March that Leon beat him unconscious in front of the Starlite then was beating him again when he awoke a few blocks away on Herschel Street. When he came to again, his eyeballs were laying on his cheeks and half his right ear had been cut off.
