2 units on CSF -1(-112)

Ok this line stinks.... bad. Im talking indy/cowboys bad. But I just cant help myself. Pepperdine is terrible. They have done nothing but lose, except they beat Colorado the other day. But Colorado is so bad I didnt even bet on them when BB picked them:scared THATS HOW BAD THEY ARE.

Pt1gard tipped me off to how bad CU was and how good AF was about a month ago. AF went on to hammer CU by 40.

Anyway, I saw Pepperdine last night against LBSU and they were terrible. A one man show at all times. LBSU who last year was a 1 on 1 move to the hole and kick th ball out for 3 offense, was moving the ball with ease through the defense of Pep. Long story short, Pepperdine was EXTREMELY lucky to even cover against LBSU and me and my buddy pretty much decided we should be looking to fade Pep, much like I look to fade CU now.

JohnnyB could probably tell you how good CSF is better than me. i have only done minimal research, but what I have seen has shown me that they can play. Here is an exceprt off yahoo sports written about CSF

Titans put up a solid fight

By Sagar Parikh, Daily Bruin
December 7, 2006
(CSTV U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- Cal State Fullerton had all the makings of a formidable opponent.

The Titans (5-2) came into Tuesday's game averaging nearly 90 points per game and featuring a possible NBA prospect in point guard Bobby Brown.

They were supposed to bring the Bruins out of the doldrums that the No. 1 UCLA basketball team has experienced through its stretch of three straight games against Big West teams.

Instead, the Bruins' 78-54 victory on Tuesday featured many of the same characteristics as the previous two uninspiring victories.

"This was not a 24-point game," UCLA coach Ben Howland said. "We were fortunate it ended up that score, but it sure didn't feel like it. Fullerton is a very talented team."

The Bruins (7-0) committed 21 turnovers in the game, as Fullerton's fast pace caught them off guard in the first half.

Point guard Darren Collison committed five turnovers and the Bruins looked lackadaisical as the Titans built a 14-4 lead to start the game.

"We knew they were going to come out hard against us, especially being a local team," Collison said. "We just had to take a step back and regroup."

So all this and a -1 line on CSF? I just dont get it. The only other home game of season for pep has been against UCSB and they lost by 9.

I look for this to be a high scoring game with a win by CSF. I will put a unit on the over (177) just to hedge a crazy 3pt rally from behind like I saw against LBSU.

GL guys, thoughts and opinions welcome.

Hi,

I wish you a ton of luck on the play. Pepperdine is thin, but Walberg is a great coach, and with what he has talent wise (which is nothing) he has done a great job.

At Fresno City College he had around a 90% win rate. They run up tempo, pressing the whole game, and it is not uncommon to see their defense get scored on, they dont play tough pressure D. His offense is based on guard play and breaking down the D. They live and die by the three.

My point (since we are here to discuss and feed off eachother) is that Fullerton is coming off a big emotional loss and now they have to gear up to play fullcourt run and gun away from home. Pepperdine is pretty weak, but they have only played ONE home game, a double OT loss to a pretty solid UCSB team. I think Walberg will have his team well prepared for a tough home win. This year they may be thin for talent but keep an eye out for them in the next few years, the guy can flat out coach.

Just giving you some feedback, hope you have a great day and lots of luck on your plays!!!

Good luck,
Hobbs

i took a double-look too on this line, seems like they are over-valueing the home court. i don't believe it was an emotional loss, nothing was expected of the titans vs. bruins. were they disapointed? yes but they conceded that game halfway thru the 2 period.
fullerton will run with these guys and they are deeper than the waves.
based on sheer value, its a must play!

Adding a 3 team ML parlay

Nev (-530) tailing AR182 pick
CSU (-145) fading CU
LBSU (-385) Just think they have the edge n talent and are a very tough team at home.

Putting 1 unit to win 1.5 units

:mj07:
Now they are shooting 8% from 3 and 25% from field

I gotta feeling this is going to be a loss for me.

Edit: 2 minutes later I see they are down to 7% from 3
