CT/UMASS.......taking 13

Jim Calhoun plays for March........
Lotta different looks tonight, lotta guys shuffling in and out.
Steve Lappas wants to play as slow and deliberate as he can.....will definitely try to dictate the tempo of this game.
Mullins Center is good to the 'Minutemen" 102-43 over 12 years...
Anderson and Maxwell are hitting their 3s and UMass WILL shoot a bunch of them.
THAT SAID.......CT should kill UMASS ...They have speed, athleticism, shooters, rebounders .......big advantage at all positions.......BUT they had a big advantage over Indiana as well...Sometimes this team will lose its cohesiveness....Sometimes you get a spectacular quarter (Buffalo) (Indiana) and sometimes a great half........rarely a complete game and its tough on the road where CT has been a moneyburner over the last year or so.

A 20 point CT win will not surprise me but for the $ I'm taking the 'Minutemen" and Steve Lappas to keep this a half court, disciplined game and hold the huskies to a 10 point W or less.

i was so close to playing umass. i think theyre the right side here. i got freaked out though when i looked at their turnover numbers. 18 turnovers vs gonzaga and 19 turnovers vs. northeastern. im gonna wait until halftime. if they look like they can stay in it, i think im gonna play umass whatever the 2h line is. hope your game +13 bet hits. good luck

Great game!.......... sorry for those who lost $ as did most on this one but the CT/UMASS rivalry is alive and well in Massachusetts. You'd think that UMass just won the National Championship.
Gotta give those kids and those fans credit for a great game. CT still plays in spurts and thats ok with cupcakes.....but this game will help them in many ways. CT has some growing to do.......... this certainly was not one of their better efforts.
